Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, the Maryville City School District has grown to include 5,089 students since our beginning in 1900. Our history includes high expectations and citizens who insist on the betterment of education for the community. Today our mission is to prepare students for a lifetime of learning and responsible citizenship. Maryville students and teachers are recognized leaders in the state of Tennessee and serve as a great source of pride in our community. Our commitment to excellence is the source of our confidence, as well as our challenge for the future.
